The great thing about really good friends is that you can always pick up from where you left off. Kards arrived from Shetland today to spend the weekend with us and celebrate my birthday with me tomorrow. Our friendship is so easy and we know each other so well that nothing ever seems to get in the way of it. It just is.

So even though you are completely mad, frustratingly right (sometimes) and think you know me inside out and just because you make me laugh (a lot) and have a BIG heart and made my birthday a day to remember (I will of course exceed any expectations you might have when you hit the big four zero) this is for you with the biggest sickle handed hug a little Lents can give X
