Lunch in Luxembourg

All too soon it was Friday, and time to head for home again. We left our forest abode at 7.30 in the morning and set forth on the return journey. This time we opted to pay the French tolls (and avoid the German roadworks!) and headed up through the Alsace towards the north Belgian coast, location of our final overnight stop. Our route took us through Luxembourg and we decided, as we had with Brussels on Sunday, that we might as well go into the city rather than drive around. Conveniently it worked out to be just about lunch time as we passed.

Luxembourg is probably a lovely place, but it was cold and rainy and parking was expensive - it's fair to say we didn't really get the best from our couple of hours there. We did dutifully wander round the old town for a little bit, though, and took a few pictures to prove we'd been.
