After Noon
Bottlebrush profiled against a darkening cloud, but behind that cloud a dominant pristine white cloud. The sun was high. The sky was brilliant blue. The image is exactly as it was taken without enhancement.
Here is a link to a photo I took in the same shoot. I had stepped into the interior of a shrubbery and noticed a (tiny) scrap that was dramatically spinning at speed in apparent mid-air. I managed to bring one only image of it back for identification. I wonder if it is a chrysalis in the making. I could not see what was keeping it in place although suppose it is suspended by filaments from a leaf or branch.
