Back with a Bang

Most of the day was spent around Alexandra Palace. Had the most laughs I had all week particularly with my terrible attempt at ice skating (hey at least I tried and I did complete the entire circuit). At one point the guys tried helping me (or should I say push me) but that ended with an epic fall. Let's just say my bruises aren't that obvious compared to theirs ha ha. And then I almost dry humped another poor girl when my brakes failed..so definitely a memorable moment! Besides the ice skating disaster, there was also a bier festival at the same Venue. The cues for bier festival was absolutely ridonkeylous!!! We would have ended up waiting in the cue for atleast three hours. We managed to get a drink from outside vendors which still was difficult considering there were 40,000+ people and some of the organizing was done poorly. Lots of food stalls ensured we were well fed. My favorite was the cinnamon sugar covered churros with Belgian chocolate dipping sauce ;) The weather was absolutely freezing. It's the first time since I got here, I was glad I was sitting in a tube afterwards. Fireworks and lazor show was fantastic and well worth the wait. Managed to capture a decent shot at the beginning and then enjoyed the fireworks ;)
