It's been a good day :-) Minerva woke us early, then we eventually gave up & got up at 9 (so much for a lie in)! We had a LivingSocial voucher for lunch at 1pm, so we had a nice relaxed morning playing games. Then we went to Zio Pin which was really good, very tasty food. I had the whitebait starter & the pork scallops for main. The voucher covered starter, main & a bottle of prosecco between the two of us.

We then went into town to have a wander. It's so much busier now it's getting closer to Christmas! Went into Lush for a wander & touch of present spotting. It's the first time I've got Craig interested in anything there so it must have been a lucky time! I finally bought some boots after trying & failing last Sunday. Also bought a new clutch to replace my tired looking one. I bought it in 2011 so it's done a fair bit of service!

After that we made our way home via Evans to try and avoid the wind & rain. It feels stormier than during the St Jude storm last weekend. Very sudden bouts of rain. We chilled out more at home until 7pm where we went outside to watch the Cardiff fireworks. They were brilliant. We can only see the big rockets from our street (the tickets were sold out) but even those are worth watching. It was fine for the first 15 minutes and then it started raining quite hard. We ended up getting into my car with our drinks & carried on watching them through the wipers!

To top it off, we carried on playing Torchlight II and then made it to our friends Halloween party. They'd done a really good job on the house decorations! We were the only ones there that didn't go in costume, but I just haven't had time before today to buy or make a costume and I completely forgot about it while we were shopping. It was a good night, lots of very drunk chats & dancing to Dan who was DJing for the night. A good day.
