A day of tidying and cleaning after the mess of the flamge (daughter's new made up word for her 3 best friends) of girls. They woke at 7:30, so very nearly seven hours sleep for them!

Lots of visits from family and friends today, along with a lot of card and present opening. Then a trip into our town to see the fireworks display with some more friends. The day ended badly for the birthday girl when she bumped into a wall on the way home. It was only a small wall (too busy chatting; didn't see it coming) but her leg came off worst. Lots of cuddles and she fell asleep in my arms, in my bed, just like she did 8 years ago today.
