We decided not to venture to the local firework display this evening. Instead, we watched the display from the opposite side of the river - the Essex side. Our side.

It is a free display, receiving donations towards next year's fireworks, but it can take up to an hour to exit the venue. An hour is some way beyond the patience threshold of an 8 week old.

The view was very good, but the drama somewhat diminished by the distance from the event itself, but nevertheless, great for photographing it. I can't be sure who took this one. It could have been any one of the five children in our group or even me. It seems the remote shutter release was far too tempting to ignore.
