Bridlepath
Took a walk on some of the bridlepaths around the house today. Loads of photos, so nice to get out locally, tend to forget and don't walk locally as often as we should!
Up early, Geoff, Jenny, Amy and myself were in Walden for a coffee before eight.
Back, Jenny tried out out the breadmaker, we don't use it, pleased with the results she is going to take it home tomorrow. Geoff and Amy took the insides out of his twin, the pumkin from yesterday, then I made soup with it. Went for the walk and were home in time for the bread to be ready so it was that and soup for lunch.
Couple of hours chilling then out to Walden for the fireworks. We arrived rather early and had a good hour to wait before they started but it was worth while. Did take some photos of those and the fair, will add some to my blipfolio at some point.
Back home to a couple of missed skype calls from Maddie and Agnes, gave them a call on their house phone and we were able to share their breakfast while we had our supper. While Maddie was busy tidying up the kitchen Agnes was very happy dunking her toast and marmite into her water, this was a second breakfast, the first had been weetabix as she was up early this morning. They were off to get ready to go to the after party for the children's tv show 'What Now' that Chris works on. It is a bit like the NZ version of Blue Peter except it is just on a Sunday morning. Like BP they have a summer break so as today was the last show they were having a party for the families of everyone working on the show. Hope they have a great time!
As much as we want to start counting down to 25 December and our journey to see them, we don't want the trip to go too quickly. Can't wait to give all three of them a big hug.
