Windy Weather

Pete arrived this morning in time for us to go to Nero for morning coffee. Later, despite the very windy weather, Ann went out on her bike and I took a few snaps in the garden, and beyond, trying to get an impression of the strong gusts. This Acacia tree a couple of gardens down is not only impressive with its golden leaves, but was wafting around dramatically in the wind.

I actually prefer Angie's (mad on pic taking too) picture of swirling leaves, but I couldn’t find any actual falling leaves, so this will have to do.

Pete has gone into depression (not really) over Liverpool’s defeat by Arsenal, though I was quite pleased with Hull’s 1 nil win over Sunderland, so we made spinach and ricotta cannelloni for tea, with lots of garlic!
