The Locarno, Old Town, Swindon.

Yet another historic Swindon building- left to be vandalised and an eyesore to the community.....

However- finally there may be light at the end of the tunnel- there have been plans submitted to the council to transform it. Under the proposals the grade II-listed Locarno buildings will be refurbished and new buildings will create three restaurants and a glass-covered entertainments hall, a basement spa and gym, a café, a shop, a hotel, and homes.

Lets hope that the council approve the plans.
