Return

It was back to the flatlands today. We stayed in a very pleasant bed and breakfast last night near St Omer and took the table d'hôte option. We were made very welcome and enjoyed a long evening meal with the proprietors and two other guests. I felt a bit low driving back through the rain and more so when I started on the inevitable catching up jobs. I decided to be positive and stopped doing chores as I noticed the sun had come out. I walked over to the Nursing home and was pleased that my mother showed a spark on me visiting her. She said it was such a surprise to see me even though I have been telling her every day this week I would be back today! Anyway it was good to see a rare smile on her face. I also wandered around looking for a shot and, although I could find nothing particularly new or interesting, I was pleased to photograph the church in a nice light.
