The Hunt

Was out with hubby and went onto the South Downs at Firle, very, very windy - nearly blown off my feet. Happened upon a Hunt, not the easiest of pictures to take as lense out on full zoom and trying hard to not fall over, so was amazed I got any in focus.

I like this shot out of the four I took of the hunt as it captures them in action, rather than just waiting to go through the gateway - which was equally amusing as none wanted to dismount and hold the gate open. Instead they tried to open and hold the gate from on top of their steeds.

Then the heavens opened and with a sudden police presence and protestors, we decided to put cameras away and head back down - silly police did block the road that I wanted to drive down - but then it may have been a dead end, so happen they new what they were doing - lol

All in all a very enjoyable drive and photo time.
