Andy Burnham was really impressive at the North West Labour Party Conference this morning.
What is sad though is the lack of press coverage of the fact that this government promised not to restructure the management of the NHS before it was elected. Upon being elected it restructured the NHS in such a way that it is now ready to be dismantled if they win the next election. In the process 2000 managers received 6 figure payoffs from the NHS simply to then be employed in effectively the same jobs.
