Fall Foliage at the Reflection Pool

The scaffolding starts coming off tonight around the Washington Monument(post external Aug 2011 earthquake repairs) and wanted to see it one last time.

I arrived before sunrise and got some nice pre-dawn shots. The sunrise was a disappointment but the reflection of the scattered clouds post-sunrise was worth the wait. Click for a closer look...
