Showers over Portland

I love this view and nearly every day I come up here I take a picture of this scene. Most days I don't use it because I've found a different subject but I love trying to capture the different weather as it passes over Lyme Bay.

Today the sun was on Portland and the showers were illuminated as they passed over it and you can just see the tree's on Colmer Hill.

This morning I met another man walking his dog who turned out to have worked for Kodak doing special effects for films. He said that he once worked on one of the Batman films and it took them months to remove (paint out) the wires from some of his flying scenes. Today it takes a few seconds and Photoshop
