Lantern parade finale

A tiny glimpse into the Lantern Parade finale which doesn't do it justice. Each year a fantastic parade takes place round this time through the park, more 'day of the dead' than Halloween, theatre, music, giant puppets, samba bands, drumming, brass sections, a cast of 100s and much more. It's gets better and bigger each year, this year Red Riding Hood, a sleeping giant, a cat playing a fiddle, bands of wolves (as in playing instruments) lots of Miss Muffets and of course the giant married skeletons were some of those who entertained and amazed us. The finale was a key going into the lock of a tree which had a talking owl who burst into flames, fell into the tree setting the tree ablaze to the boom and fizz of fireworks. (So, just a normal Friday night then).
This was the tree alight, overlooked by another owl.
