Tonight we had a rather wonderful party to celebrate MrsCyclops Birthday. We had a room overlooking the Castle so we could watch the festival fireworks, and there was much cake and fizz...

One of the gifts the birthday girl received was this life-sized cut out of John Barrowman playing Captain Jack Harkness from Torchwood. I think it's fair to say that she is a big fan of his work... Everyone (we hope?!?) who came along signed the back, which created a nice talking point (!) for the evening...

Great party, great company, great fun.

Why on earth did I book myself a breakfast meeting for Monday???
