There's a bird in there somewhere
Friends of the Belair National Park barbecue meeting today - how could we miss that?
Then a really relaxing saunter around some of our favourite places. I saw a bandicoot, and a couple of baby foxes, but they were far too quick for me.
Before we knew it the afternoon was almost over. So just a quick visit to Playford Lake where a cormorant was having his evening bathe. I know it's a cormorant because we saw it drying off a little later on.
It's a Great Cormorant (Phalacrocorax carbo), the most common of the cormorant species in Australia, and widely seen throughout the world.
