Armadillo

Fort Pickens, Pensecola Fl.

This is the first Armadillo I have ever seen that wasn't dead or in a zoo! He was a young one who was busy eating ants, which I was very glad to see him doing so. Ants in Florida seem to bite when ever possible- at least they do so to me! We had a great time combing through this old fort and enjoyed all the hidey holes.
