Adam

lunch with Margaret and Ian today. Our nephew Adam and his partner, Rachel, who have been on holiday in Scotland, stopped by on their way home.

Adam 'retired' from the Army in spring, soon after returning from his second tour in Afghanistan with 1Scots. None of us knew exactly when his regiment would be arriving back in Britain. I'll never forget the joy when Hugo,( his Dad) called to say, 'Adam's home!' .......and we knew he wasn't going back.
