Bikers jacket

This jacket is older than some of my friends.

Way back in 84, I won 3rd prize in a kitchen planning competition sponsored by British gas. This was part of my BTEC diploma course.

Getting 3rd place in the West Midlands meant my dad accompanying me to a dinner in Solihull. Posh food and my poshest frock (which I still have but that's another post).

The other good thing about the prize was the £25 cheque which I promptly spent on a proper biker's leather jacket.

Its's still worn often. The design on the back is a rocky horror reference but the front is more interesting bit less photogenic.
