Delivery Day

Today was a mini off-island adventure delivering Silurian to the Caley Canal. I've never been out on a yacht before so being allowed on the helm for a few hours was fantastic even though it included heavy rain and hail at times. We were dropping her off for the winter so the only sail we had on board was the storm sail but anything that could help us try to catch up on lost time was a bonus.
Fantastic day and a great craic on board with our crew for the day and so bizarre that with so many different forms of transport in the day the only one I was in control of was the boat.
