Crime and Punishment

Dostoyevsky at the Lyceum. It should have been brilliant but I found the production really distracting. The musical and accoustic parts were great, as was some of the physicality that created confusion, but having most of the cast and set elements on the stage most of the time was distracting. I felt it took away intimacy of some great performances (Rodya was brilliant) without adding anything. Enjoyable, but not great.
