Voskresenije

The Russian vocal ensemble Voskresenije have been touring in the UK for at least 12 years now, and tonight they performed in St Mary's Dalmahoy. We went to hear them there, because their tour doesn't include any West coast venues this year. This soloist sang tenor in the ensemble but emerged as the most amazing soprano in some of his solos.

It was great to hear them again, and to renew a firm friendship with Jurij, the director, and Anatoly, the basso profundo. I shall be singing Those were the days all night ...
