And So It Begins......

Welcome to my weird and wonderful world of wool, wood and whimsy.

Come join me as I embark upon journey through the hobby crafts, starting, continuing and (hopefully) finishing numerous crafty projects that fill my spare (ha, that's a laugh....spare?) time.

I knit, I sew, I sort of crochet, and now enter the realms of wood work. You will see me complete projects already started (knitting jumpers for Christmas, x-stitch pictures) and last but not least, Build the Victory.

Building the Victory is a project I began 10 years ago, in so far as I started collecting the weekly part works for this beautiful ship, however for some reason stopped short of obtaining every issue. This week, with the aid of a well known buy and sell site, I now have all 100 issues needed and can begin work.

While the primary intention of this journal is to document this building project, and show off my haberdashery handy work, almost certainly there will be a liberal sprinkling of pictures less DIY in nature, but more of the nature in my life.
