Friendship

Two of my very close friends, Jane and Irene, arrived this afternoon from Belgium. They're here for the weekend and tonight we went into town to meet Alan for drinks after work at the Ten Green Bottles. We had a British 'Champagne' which was made just up the road in Ditchling. Apparently the French are looking at buying land here as it's as good as their vineyards in Reims, and I can honestly stay the fizz was very good! So tonight you have the three of us, courtesy of Alan. It really means a lot to me that they've come all this way, and for Jane it's the first time she's ever been to Brighton.

Before we went home we stopped off at the Royal Pavilion to watch a 'light show', but unfortunately it was raining heavily, so as nice as it was, there was hardly anyone there and we didn't stay for long. We picked up a curry and are now relaxing at home with a bottle of wine.
