A Suffolk Eye

Moonpennies?

Not moonpennies really. This pretty clumping wild-flower springing so cheerfully from the deadlands of an old wheatfield is - I think - called Scentless Mayweed.

If it is, it should by right be finished by September - but not a bit of it.

We walked a lovely 8 miles or so in a loop around Martlesham today, on a way that was as warm as late spring, and with nearly as many flowers, scattered between the fallen leaves (and trees, after the St Jude's storm)
