Green Woodpecker

A visit to Minsmere today. Not a bad day weather wise though the wind was blowing a bit chill. Saw at least 2 of these smart fellows. It's interesting to see how similar they are to the Wryneck I saw back in August.

Marsh Harriers were putting on some fine displays though too far away for good photographs. Also a lovely flight by a Bittern. The Great White Egrets are still around too. A super spot by my companion was a Water Rail at the front of the Island Mere Hide.
