Nordic Championship Day 1

It has been a very very busy day.

Helle collected the boys and I at 8 am.

We arrived to Herning 11.15. Checked in to the hotel and continued to Messecenter Herning, where the Nordic Championship is held in connection with a huge international dog show.

Helle and I are both in the Danish Kennel Club HTM Committee, so this championship is our responsibility, so we arrived to the hall a little after noon and started getting everything ready. The Show Manager Iben arrived too, so we had a meeting and she helped getting stuff sorted.

At 3 pm we had a short briefing with the judges and at 4.30 pm there was training in the ring with Hero and Biscuit. 3 minutes and 20 seconds with each dog. Not much time, so you need to plan your training well.

At 5.30 pm the Opening Ceremony started. The Chairman of the Danish Kennel Club held a great Opening Speech.

We sorted the last bits and at 8 pm. we arrived to our hotel.

Pizza for dinner in our room - too tired to go anywhere to eat.

This is the boys' crates and stuff in the hall. Hero and Biscuit are sharing the big round pen and Beat has the blue crate. The flags on the wall have the dogs' names printed on them and which championships they have participated in. The cards are good luck cards.

Keep your fingers cross for us tomorrow.
