Self belief

The quote is from the lovely poet ee cummings. I first came across his work in the movie Dead Poets Society, which although not everyone's favourite, stirred something in me. He's not just a lower case favourite.

The notion of self-belief is an interesting one. It can change things or it can make no difference, it can be perceived as arrogance, it can rub the wrong way. ee, as we'll call him, pitches it nicely however, and as usual when the poets call it well, it leads to a wider understanding and a more defined view of the world.
