Linn o' Dee

After a good breakfast Simon, Dave, Ken and I headed off to Linn o' dee and made good time up to Derry Lodge. From there we headed up towards Carn a'Mhaim. we made good time and there was good crack on the way. We headed up the slopes and were soon a lot higher than those fancy altimeter watches were saying. Unfortunately we ascended into the clag and that was that as far as the view. After getting the summit and lunch it was a very long reverse back to Linn o' Dee. Clouds came in and out and to be honest it wash;t that good a day for getting camera out. A good day out with the lads though.

After a quick shower and some pasta at the quite excellent Cairngorm Club's hut we fired down to the bright lights of Braemar for a few pints. The god awul Fife Arms was only brightened by some half decent bottled ales, other than that it's bright lights and industrial lager, as poor a boozer as the Highlands has to offer. Back to the hut for a few more beer, malts and some good laughs with the rest of the club.
