Culled

Back in August I blipped the Ring of Doom, walking in the woods today it is clear that the cull of 2013 has begun and those trees with dotted rings are the first to meet their fate.
Today was a bank holiday here in NRW, Allerheiligen (All Saints' Day) when everyone seems to go out and buy the ugliest, dried (& often quite phallic - trust me, check back tomorrow & I'll blip the most hideous for you) flower arrangement for the grave of their dear departed, consequently it's felt like Sunday, but instead of having that hideous 'oh crap it's Monday tomorrow' feeling we get to have that Friday feeling all over again, 24 hours after the last one. Win-win I say.
