Staaaarving!!!!

This is not a very complimentary photograph of out Murphy. He is a most loving type who likes to be cuddled upside down like a baby and purrs loudly. However he has a touch of dementia and seems to think he is always hungry . He has lost his voice and is deaf, But he sits looking at you and opens the mouth hoping you will understand how hungry he is.

This morning our water was cut off, apparently by a burst water mains. FOLOH was in the middle of shaving . I phoned Scottish water and the lady asked if I had filled any containers. 'No' I didn't know it was going off, even the kettle is empty. Wait and see if it comes on said she and if not phone back in half an hour. My neighbour phones next to see if we have water. He phones and gets told to phone back in Two hours. .Another neighbour phoned to ask and I told him and gave him the number to phone so he got told they had found it was a burst water mains and it was getting fixed. When I got back from art it was on again. I could have put my containers outside and they would have filled as it has rained most of the day. Hence an indoor blip!
