A Good Book

The 1 November is author's day-a celebration of literature in all its forms. Its a day to show your appreciation for the incredibly hard work put in by the authors behind your favourite writings.

We popped these books together by authors from all walks of life and thought they looked quite good. A bit of light relief with some heavy reading too-it just goes to show that we can all benefit from the differences between us.

I've read most of the books in this shelf so maybe next year I should replace them and get some new ones.


The 1st November is also the anniversary of the institution of the European Court of Human Rights. It was set up permanently on 1 November 1998.
