Moeraki beach at low tide
A lovely morning again, after heavy rain last night. I have only just caught up, so the last two days images were posted earlier this evening. We visited both the spotted shag colony, and the yellow-eyed penguins. Moeraki (south of Oamaru) is a great place for wildlife.
The road into the village is being repaired, and re-routed around the back of the campground. So there was a lot of noise when we were in camp during the day. The whole peninsula is very susceptible to slips and as a result of the most recent episode several properties have almost, or completely, lost their road access.
