I fought the bugs and the bugs won

I'm sick. When I get sick I usually am only unwell for a couple of days, not this time. I'll go back to yesterday.

So my last blip I had started feeling unwell, yesterday I woke up feeling like I'd been hit all over with a bat. Andre couldn't stay home he had to go to work.

Luckily my mum was already coming over at 830 to watch Kanye while I took Mar to school and in the time I was doing the school run she had cleaned up.

Unfortunately there was no bed rest for me, Kanye had an autism assessment at 11 at Hillmorton hospital, which is across town. The assessment took an hour and it wasn't until I was on my way there that I realised I should have postponed.

It went well and afterwards my mum, Kanye and I got some lunch and a few things I needed from supermarket.

We headed home as Harper really needed a decent sleep. I ordered dinner, there was no way I was cooking. When Andre got home I let him take over and Harper and I went to bed.

This morning at around 3 I woke up on the couch ( I don't remember getting to the couch) and I knew there was no way I could take care of the kids, my ears were ringing and painful, my face and my head ached, I felt nauseous and congested,I kept sneezing and coughing I was feeling so unwell.

When Andre got up at 6 I told him that I couldn't take care of kids at all, he needed to stay home.

He's been really good today and he even said he wouldn't mind being a stay at home dad. He made the boys breakfast and their lunches, helped them get dressed and took them to school. He then took Harper to the osteopath for his reflux which is a lot better but the osteopath worked more on him on his tum and more on his head and neck this time.

My mum came over again and did house work for me while I stayed in bed. I've been sleeping on and off today, trying to eat and drink. This afternoon Andre got the boys from school and I got out of bed and sat in the sun, I'm feeling a little better, less congested less ached. Hopefully tomorrow I'll be even better, with 3 boys there's no time to be unwell.
