March Of The Squirts

I gathered more striking pictures than this today, but this probably captures the afternoon's feeling best.

Some streets were closed to traffic, starting with mine and zig-zagging to a spread of tasty treats not far away. This was a "Halloween Tot Parade," with very short trick-or-treaters stopping at all the haunted porches.

My housemates spent some time giving out candy out front, and there was no shortage of custom. The event had a huge turnout. Families came from all over the place to step along these five or six blocks.

Halloween seems to be a bigger holiday each year than the last. It suits me perfectly well..
