Dead Head

There's nothing which marks the end of Summer as effectively as the low-bobbing head of a sunflower.

My son planted this one a few months back and it achieved "Jack and the Beanstalk" proportions.

The wheel turns and the Sunflowers go to earth.

I can't wait to plant more next year.
