Drinks with new friends

Me cheating again. We were actually on a train on the 9th. Photo from the 8th. Drinks with new friends Chris and Suzie we had on a bus in Mongolia and their new friend they had met in Beijing.

This was at Green Drinks in a Beijing bookshop. Met some interesting people. One included a reporter from AP who explained that half the stories they tried to follow-up came to nothing as a result of efforts by the state to frustrate their reporting.
Over 70 branches of Gucci, but no free press and that's what they call progress!
