Ticklish

Crossing the narrow canal bridge seeing the swans and ducks I caught sight of this grebe in the distance.

Throwing the car into the verge, grabbing the camera, I hot footed it up the tow-path. The difficulty being he kept diving and disappearing - coming up miles away! All alone preening, looking round then diving again, it wasn't apparent there was something wrong till the images came up on the computer screen. The poor little thing had a leg missing! However it wasn't swimming round in circles but managing quite happily, catching fish and motoring along nicely.

Always difficult scratching your back tho' getting to those ticklish places :))
