Two redshanks

A wonderful walk lasting six hours! From home to Oare and then along Oare Creek to Oare Marshes Nature Reserve, finally across the marshes to Uplees and back to the Three Mariners at Oare for a quick drink before the next bus home.

This is a tiny crop of a shot panning the flight of a group of redshanks. I was delighted with the painterly look that the shot created. No fancy filters were used, just a bit of sharpening and chromatic aberration tweaking.

PS: There were loads of Clouded Yellow butterflies today! More than I'd ever seen before.
