You asking? I'm Samba-in'!

This is the Sambodromo of Rio de Janeiro which is the site of the famous Carnival parades you'll have seen. I'm amazed anything came out on this descent into Santos -Dumont Airport from Sao Paulo today, but is has saved me a blip shoot this evening!

The Sambodromo was renovated last year but I believe it's still a spectacular place to be when the competition is at its height and the Samba schools are strutting their strictly choreographed stuff which is timed to the second. We've never actually been inside on such a night...got to have something to look forward to!
