The Girl, The Boy, and The Dog

Strange Halloween happenings in the Jones household today. B actually agreed to have a break from gaming and take Eddie for a walk, I was shocked, so was Eddie, who flatly refused to go with him. After 5 minutes of barking and pulling, B had barely got Eddie off the drive, and there was no way he was crossing the street, B had to give in. It was pouring with rain so I took him to the little park at the end of my street for half an hour, which was much shorter usual, and he wouldn't come back in the house! I had to pick him up,carry him in, then he barked at the door to go back out.
In other strange happenings H had to leave the house wearing a dress tonight. She had no choice as she'd grown out of the Halloween cat suit, but the witches dress still fit. I look like a princess she wailed! Unfortunately within earshot of big bro, who now keeps telling her she looks princessy!
On the plus side today, the Christmas cake is made. Happy Halloween!
