4 seasons in one day

We started off the day with rain, torrential rain. After lunch the sun came out, "Let's go to the beach with the dogs"

We had a great walk on the beach in the sunshine, it was warm, the dogs had a lovely time chasing the ball. We walked down to a cave in the cliff, when we turned round to go back we realised that the sun was gone and these dark black clouds had appeared.

So suddenly the hail started, we had to battle our way down the beach because of an icy storm force wind, the wind was so strong it was difficult to breath, it blew the sand up into our faces. Then, just as suddenly, the wind died down and the hail changed into rain.

I have never experienced such contrasting weather in such a short space of time.
