Hello Berlin!

Got up a stupid o'clock this morning and Dad dropped us off at the airport (thanks Pops!) for our flight to Berlin.

Got the train into the city centre, found a pretzel, then found our hotel, dropped our bags, grabbed some lunch and jumped on the city circle tour bus. Then went on a river cruise to see the sights, then back on the bus and off at the Brandenburg Gate, walked down to the Holocaust memorial and spent some time considering the utter barbarity of the Nazis. Then strolled back up the street to the Reichstag in time for our sunset visit to the new dome, then having taken in the sights from the rooftop went back to the Brandenburg Gate for some more night-time photos, then found a restaurant, ate, drank, walked back to the hotel and collapsed into bed.
