My new cardigan x
I was amazed... Last night Eva had her longest stretch of sleep in one go since she was about 6 months old. 7 whole hours! I put her to bed at 8pm and we didn't hear a peep til just gone 3am! A quick nappy change (the nappy rash has finally all gone just don't want it returning), quick feed, and she was back asleep til about 6 am then had another hour and a bit from 7ish to about 8.15. I'd gone to bed at 10 pm so felt very refreshed today.
Eva still has her cold, but I've been continuing with the saline nasal drops, freshening up the Olbas oil near her bed, gently blowing her nose and giving lots of cuddles, and she's getting there.
We went round my mom and Peter's today, and mom gave Eva a new cardigan that Sylvia (their friend) had knitted Eva. I absolutely love it! And it's perfect for the colder weather now, as the wool is lovely and thick. It's a bit big but it'll be fine with the sleeves rolled up :-) My mom said Sylvia asked if there was anything else I'd like, I said I'd love another one the same but in pink. It really is lovely. Judging by today's pic I think Eva likes it too.
Jenny came round to see us on the evening for a few bevvies and a chin wag. Was lovely to see her, although Eva was a bit unsettled to get to bed, and it took til about 9.30 before she was finally asleep. Jen waited patiently whilst Mike and I took it in turns trying to settle her down. A teething powder did the trick in the end, poor baby. Should have just given her one sooner, but I don't want to be too quick to keep giving her teething powders. X
