Solidarity

The first day of industrial action in support of the pay claim in HE. This was the lunchtime rally in the city centre. I had to give a short but rousing speech :-/ Always hard to judge how it went. The day was a success though. Parts of the university closed down and barely any cars in the car parks whatever the employers say about levels of support! We all hope negotiations are recommenced soon and that we aren't back out on the streets doing the same again soon.
