The end of the pier show
Early start this morning but I swerved the Hound and struggled through the fog to Princetown. As many have commented; if it's not raining in Princetown it counts as a "fine day" despite the brooding mist.
Once finished there I dealt with phone calls and emails and then headed for Teignmouth to meet a friend and colleague for a coffee and a catch up. She's an OU tutor and also has an OU doctorate so she's well clever innit! It was lovely to have a chat with her as she is also experienced in working in the same environments that I visit; it's often handy to talk with someone who knows the landscape.
Then back to the hotel for more emails and phone calls but now it's time to call a halt and get some food.
The image is the end of Teignmouth pier. The yellow kiosk has "Change" written on the side and looks unused. No surprise as we all know that change comes from within.........
I hope that those who celebrate such things enjoy All Hallows' Eve. I hope the rest of you are treated more than you are tricked.
