Daily Sun

Since we last saw these sunspots yesterday they have travelled about 98,000 miles as the Sun's rotation carries them round. AR1884 is crackling with energy and is currently estimated with a 50% chance of an M class flare but only a 10% chance of an X class flare. The CME impact predicted for today has already caused quite spectacular aurora in northern Norway.
