Mothers Clubs in Bangladesh
IMPACT's Mothers' Clubs in rural Bangladesh promote key health messages, empowering women (most of whom are illiterate) with information about maternal health, nutrition, sanitation, hygiene and how to recognise the first signs of ill-health and disability.
They are also forums for the distribution of SONO Filters, so that impoverished families can remove harmful arsenic from their drinking water.
Our Indiegogo crowdfunding campaign has only got 13 days left to go. We are raising money to distribute SONO Arsenic Filters to people living in 10 villages in Chuadanga District, an area which is severely affected by arsenic in groundwater.
Please follow @WAT_campaign if you are on Twitter and take a look at our Indiegogo page http://www.indiegogo.com/projects/without-a-trace to see how you can help.
